About Scott Falls
Scott Falls is one of the top 10 easiest waterfalls to visit in the Upper Peninsula — you can pull up right next to it, just off Highway M-28 outside AuTrain. The waterfall is a straight plunge off a 12–15 foot hillside with a small cave underneath, and it's accessible every season, freezing into a column of ice over winter.
Roadside parking isn't recommended given highway speeds of 65–80 mph; it's best to park across the street at the roadside park instead. That park sits right on Lake Superior with a white sand beach, a nice spot for a swim or to launch a kayak or paddleboard. While there, look for the "Face in the Cliff" nearby at 46.438072, -86.815385.
